Family moved from Williamsport PA to Cape May NJ, exit-0 on the Garden state Parkway. Fantastic place to grow up: Small town; Near zero crime; Everyone knows everyone. Same classmates from kindergarten to graduation. Jobs gained by word-of-mouth and references. Easy living.

Enlisted and sent to San Diego CA for boot camp and schools. (Why did I join?) First ship: USS Nereus (AS-17), then to NucPwrSchool in Vallejo CA, before Navy-sponsored BS to become an officer. USS Nimitz, then Montery for MSEE and WashDC. I converted to Reserve to become self-employed.
