Mom (Dickenson, Hess, Woehlcke)
1928-2016
Incredible mother who held the family together when our father initially abandoned and died shortly thereafter. She married the incredible Corky Woehlcke, raised the kids, and lived the balance of her life in Cape May including many years at Dallas Stores and Swain’s Hardware.

Bonnie (Hess) Rulli
1947 - now Rio Grande
After LCMRHS’65, Bonnie worked as a legal secretary (more paralegal) wherever she lived. She has travelled the world, lived in Florida, and married a couple of times.

W Curt Hess
1948 - now Santa Fe NM
After LCMRHS ‘66, Curt attended Lycoming, then joined the Navy which sent him to NCSU for BS-Computer Science and Monterey for MSEE-Digitial Systems. During his Navy Reserve years, he started several businesses in the healthcare & real estate sectors before returning to Navy full time as GS15 Reserve Director and Cybersecurity Officer. Now consulting with small businesses to implement AI.

Rick Hess
1950 - now Havelock NC
After LCMRHS’68 Rick spent 4-years in USAF, mostly Dover. Upon discharge, Rick began a career in auto, starting at the bottom and working his way to the top as Dealer Manager - running several dealerships that gained multiple Ford Awards (several times rewarded with tickets to the Super Bowl). Retired. -
Linda (Hess) Lambert w/ John Jr.
1952 - now Rio Grande NJ
After LCMRHS’70 Linda married and lived in Cape May County 95% of her life, enjoying her family. She has worked with multiple local firms, the longest as a staff employee at the Lobster House HQ. -
Tommy Hess
1954 - 2006 - and missed by many
After LCMRHS’72 Tommy joined USNavy and spent 4-years as a payroll clerk at sea on small ships. He returned to Cape May and was self-employed most of his life: Tom Hess Painting

Stan Hess w/ Nancy
1955 - now Absecan NJ
After LCMRHS’73 Stan joined the USNavy who promptly moved him to Hawaii for his entire 4-years. Upon returning, Stan worked in Atlantic City Casinos 40+ years, rising to Pit Boss before retiring to home and Golf.

Karl Hess
1961 - Now Barnegat NJ
After LCMRHS’79 Karl spent 20-years in USAF, initially in healthcare and ultimately as Air Traffic Control. Both he and wife Phyllis retired USAF but continued to work in industry until 2025. Now travelling the world.
